Sunday Morning Reads
At Sunday Mornings at the River, community doesn’t end when a book is published. Many of the poets who have appeared in our anthologies go on to release collections of their own, and we want to celebrate that work too.
Sunday Morning Reads is our way of shining a light on those books. Each month we’ll review a title by one of the poets we’ve previously published — thoughtful, honest reflections that are reader-friendly rather than academic. Our goal is simple: to help these books find more readers and to keep amplifying the voices that matter.
You’ll find these reviews here on our website and compiled in our free Substack newsletter. We hope you’ll discover a new book to add to your shelf and continue to support the poets who make this community what it is.
How it works
If you’ve been published in one of our anthologies and have released a solo book, we’d love to hear from you. Each month we select a title for Sunday Morning Reads — our community review series.
